Kathryn brings over 20 years of combined experience in law, wealth management and fiduciary services to provide comprehensive estate planning for her clients. Her unique blend of legal expertise and experience in financial planning and trust administration allows her to clearly articulate complex issues and strategies and efficiently implement sophisticated and thoughtful estate plans to transfer wealth in accordance with her clients’ goals.
Prior to actively practicing as an estate planning attorney, Kathryn spent the better part of a decade in wealth management with a top-ranked private wealth team at UBS where she gained extensive experience working with high-net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. There, she developed a deep understanding of financial strategies designed to optimize tax efficiency and facilitate wealth transfer. More recently, Kathryn served as a fiduciary officer in the trust department of a regional financial institution where she was directly responsible for the administration of various types of trusts and fostered relationships with high-net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, counseling clients and trust beneficiaries on how trust structures operate in practice to preserve wealth and enable tax-efficient transfers across generations. Kathryn leverages her prior background and experiences in wealth management and fiduciary administration to engage in thoughtful discussions with her clients to define their family wealth planning goals and to design and implement solid planning to accomplish those goals.
Kathryn lives in Charlotte with her husband Jason, their daughter Caroline, and Caroline’s dog Lucy.
